Quadrint Receives 2020 Hire Vets Medallion Award from U.S. Department of Labor

U.S. Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia recognized Quadrint as one of the recipients of the 2020 HIRE Vets Medallion Award during an award ceremony at the U.S. Department of Labor. Quadrint earned the Gold-level Award after applying earlier this year. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes job creators who successfully recruit, hire, and retain veterans.

“Veteran hiring has always been a priority for us,” said Glenn Merberg, Managing Principal at Quadrint.  “We started targeting veterans in recruiting to give back to the national defense community, but quickly realized that they were our best source of high-performing employees that fit perfectly with our high-integrity, mission-first corporate culture.  The process of applying for the HIRE Vets Medallion allowed us to put deliberate focus on caring for our large veteran workforce.”

The HIRE Vets Medallion Award selection is based on several criteria, ranging from veteran hiring and retention to providing veteran-specific resources, leadership programming, dedicated human resources, and compensation and tuition assistance programs – with requirements varying for large, medium, and small employers.

Quadrint has supported military employees through various efforts such as recruiting through Microsoft Software and Systems Academy (MSSA) and the creation of Quadrint Military Community (QMC), a veteran resource group aimed at helping veterans and reservists feel welcome in the workplace.

We are thankful to all our veterans and reservists who have made this possible.
