GaryNelsonPhotoGary Nelson, Ph.D.
Dr. Nelson is Chairman of Sigma Federal, LLC.  Formerly the Vice Chairman of SRA International, he has over 30 years of experience in the federal services business as a line manager, senior executive, and industry consultant. As a principal of the company and head of marketing and sales, he led SRA from a position as a policy analysis boutique to a major player in the IT and professional services market segment, growing from $2 million to over $300 million in revenues during his tenure.  Prior to SRA, Dr. Nelson served in government as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, as Associate Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, and as Principal Analyst at the Congressional Budget Office in its first two years of operation.  For the past four years, Dr. Nelson has been a strategic advisor to more than a dozen companies on federal market strategies involving growth, management, and mergers and acquisitions. He has served as member of the Board of Directors of SRA (Vice Chairman), SRA Europe, Plexus Scientific Corporation, and the Information Technology Association of America. He also served as a member of the Army Science Board.

Mr. Rowland retired from Federal Service as the Deputy Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), concluding 40 years of service to the United States.  While serving as Deputy Director, he formulated policy, managed agency resources, provided acquisition oversight, and led operational activities to accomplish the mission of this worldwide defense agency.

  Mr. Rowland held other key leadership roles at NGA as Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Business Executive, Director of Global Operations, Associate Deputy Director of Operations, Director of Geospatial Information, and Deputy Director of the Central Imagery Tasking Office.

   Before beginning Federal Service, Mr. Rowland served 24 years in the U.S. Air Force.

 

DeepakPhotoDeepak Hathiramani
Mr. Hathiramani is the founder and Chairman of Vistronix Intelligence and Technology Solutions, a national security solutions provider. He has more than 25 years of experience with privately funded and venture-funded high-tech start-ups.  Prior to Vistronix, he worked with high-tech start-ups including Nx Networks (Netrix Corporation) through its Initial Public Offering and Cinnabar Software until its sale to publically traded KMW Systems. Mr. Hathiramani received a B.A., Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. (Honors) from the University of Bombay, India.  Most recently, he completed a Certificate Program in Walkable Urban Real Estate Development at the George Washington University. Mr. Hathiramani serves on the Board of Directors of the Professional Services Council and is a member of George Mason University’s Volgenau School of Engineering Advisory Board, the University of Texas at Austin Department of Computer Science Advisory Council and the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) Senior Advisory Board.
